Hippy Nut, Tim Champion’s Vintage Style Pedals Now In Stores
Hello Sweetie Pies,
Ok, now when I told producer songwriter extraordinaire Terry Radigan about this, she
replied, "What are y'all now? Mad scientists!" I mean to tell y'all that I went to Texas
for only ten days and left Tim here in our New York studio apt. alone. He was invited,
but decided to keep working here and let me visit my family alone this time.
Well, right away he got the flu and was stuck in bed for days, but he just turned the phone off and got into a deep focus... you know that feeling when your routine is interrupted and you kinda get back into your dreams and your essential self.
Anyway, he tells me that he started dreaming about how to make these vintage style
guitar pedals while he lay in bed ill.
By the time I came home, he'd developed a stomp box guitar pedal and named it the
CLAPTHENA. I was so tickled to have a pedal named after me and with a nod to Clapton too. It's for folks who want that sound Eric Clapton got on his first record.
Since then, our HIPPY NUT Tim Champion has developed 2 more pedals and they
are being sold now in the vintage department at Guitar Center on 14th Street as well
as Carmine Street Guitars, Dan's Chelsea Guitars, and Rogue Music.
I hope y'all will stop by these stores and ask to play these pedals. You can read
the reviews of the pedals at Harmony Central.
Look for Tim Champion pedals: Hand wired by Tim himself.
